100 YEAR DONATION

The Class of 1970 will be participating in the celebration of Glenbard West's 100th Anniversary by donating a gift to our high school alma mater.

Happy Holidays to All and the Best New Year!

Simply the Best!! Class of '70 Wins!!!!

We are pleased (and frankly a little surprised) to announce that
The Class of ’70 Alumni ‘float’
won 1st Place for Best Alumni Group
at this year’s GBW Homecoming Parade!

Competition was fierce. Some class groups chose to ride in vintage convertibles, while others showed off their high-dollar sports cars. However, the Spirit of the Class of ’70 won over the crowd walking with a simple felt banner and about $80 worth of candy that Connie Kowal and Tom Turek threw into the cheering crowd. It was Peace & Love for everyone!

Even better, the Centennial Committee parade judges have awarded $100 in our class’s name to the Glenbard West Centennial Scholarship fund!

Please contribute to our Class of 1970 Glenbard West
 100th Anniversary Donation

The Centennial Committee, in collaboration with DuPage Foundation, has established a Glenbard West Centennial Foundation which will endow an annual scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior who best embodies the ethos and character of a Glenbard West graduate. The foundation will also look to fund a beautification update to Circle Drive. For more information about the foundation, click here.

Glenbard West turns 100 this year, with the very first graduating class walking in 1923!

Glenbard West Class of '70

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

You Looked Maavelous!

What a great group of people!

Our 50th +1 Reunion was a joy!

Our plan is to keep the GlenbardWest70.com website active so we have a secure designated place to stay in touch with each other. Let's use the site to share thoughts, life's changes, message each other directly, and keep contact information up to date. If you have suggestions on what the site should contain, please send them along.

Photos are always appreciated, of course. If you can, please set your photo's dpi to 72 so we can make the most of our website storage.Send them to: GBWReunion70@gmail.com. We'll take it from there.

Several people have asked if we could post a list of email addresses for the class, but for the sake of internet privacy we aren't going to do so. Instead, you are free to contact a fellow classmate through this website's classmate profile section. Go to Classmate Information->Click on the person's name -> Look for the envelope icon that says 'Send a private message' under the person's picture and you're golden.

Seeing you all was so wonderful - let's keep a good thing going!
