I did not know Diane, but a classmate has reported to me that she recently passed away from an unreported cause. She had been living in Florida with her husband, Patrick Cassidy.

Diane M Cassidy, 69, was born November 12, 1952, in Chicago to John and Victoria Legenza. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on September 25, 2022. Diane loved her Florida winter home, long walks on the beach, and supporting animal shelters and causes. Most of all Diane adored her family and 5 grandchildren.
Diane was the beloved wife of Patrick; loving mother of Nicole (Jason) and Candice (Josh); cherished grandmother of Caeley, Josh, Gabrielle, William, and Jace. Diane had 6 sisters and many nieces and nephews.

I do remember Diane from Glen Crest Junior High as well as GBW. I remember our junior high trip to Springfield, we had a fun time together. Sorry to hear she has passed so young.
