Larry was a great guy, with good humor and friend to his friends. I remember him very well and I met him again in a visit I paid to Glen Ellyn in 1975. Lately I could read his words in FB.Sorry to red he is no longer with us.

So sorry to hear about Larry's passing. He was extremely likeable, had a great sense of humor, and a tremendous amount of creative talent in the realms of music, theater, and photography. He wil be missed.

What a gift life is for us all. I was just catching up on Larry, saw his posting on the reunion page then learned from Rick of Larry's passing. I was looking forward to seeing him again. What a great guy with personality and humor that made you like him from the start. RIP Larry, all of us remember you well and we miss you.

I am so saddened to hear of Larry's passing! He fought the good fight! We were Facebook friends so I was aware of his many health issues. All I can say is, "God be with you Larry...You are out of your misery...and you will be sorely missed!" 😥

Wow, what a loss of a friend and world class human.  Larry and I go way back to Junior High when he and his family moved to Glen Ellyn.  The principle of the school walked up to me with this new student, Larry Capps, and asked me to orient him to Junior High because we had the same last name.  We became instant friends, a friendship that lasted for years.  We had lockers next to each other throughout high school and shared many good laughs.  He never stopped loving life and those around him even when his last years were fraught physical discomfort.
Your smile, your humor, your generosity, your genuine kindness will always be remembered. RIP my friend.

That is so sad to hear about Larry Capps. He played the part of my boyfriend in "West Side Story" our Senior year. He was PePe and I was Consuelo. There was a part in the script where I was supposed to slap him in the face. I guess I did it too hard and he became dizzy. He was a good sport and we joked about it from time to time. He was such a nice, polite, talented, smart, fun guy and good actor to boot. It seems like he had a hard time at the end of his wonderful life, which is so disheartening to hear. Larry, you blessed the lives of so many people, including mine.
