I moved to Glen Ellyn in the middle of my jr year and struggled to fit in. Pat was welcoming and turned out to be a good friend. I lost contact with her in college but will always remember her.
I came to West in my sophomore year from East. I met Pat through Mrs. Hill our nurse. She was such a nice person and made me feel very welcome at the school. I was hoping to meet up with her again at a reunion. Sorry to hear that will not happen but our paths will cross again in time.
I remember Pat. She was an Office Aide and I was in a class with her. I know she had an interset in nursing. Does anyone know if she went into nursing after high school? I'm so sorry to see this sad post.
Pat had her locker next to mine. She was so friendly, cheerful and kind. I'm not sure if she attended nursing school , as she was in the Future Nurses Club at GBW HS. Ido know that she enjoyed sewing, as did I. I miss her smiling and cheerful manner , Ruth Shepard (Deitz)
