.I feel I should say something about Kim and her passing. I never knew Kim in high school however I knew her the last year or two of her life. My husband and I enjoyed eating at Ozzies restaurant in Wheaton.

Kim was a waitress there and as she was always so friendly we enjoyed chatting with her. She was always smiling and did her job with joy. She would make us laugh. Our conversations never got too deep so when she passed we went to her wake. I was shocked when I read about her personal life and that she went to Glenbard West and her maiden name was Keating! I wished at that moment I would have asked more about her personal life. We would have had GW in common. I often feel bad we didn't get that chance. She passed from complications from a common surgery. Learned a lesson that day. Always go a little deeper and ask questions with those around you. Be a better friend.
Just wanted to add this in remeberance of Kim. She will be missed.

I knew Kim Keating from junior high through high school. We lived in the same neighborhood and often played together those early years. She always had fun and made fun wherever she was. I was sad when I heard she had passed. It is sad that there are many people come and go in our lives and we lose track of them.

Enjoyed going to grammar school junior high and high school with Kim. She was a great person and very personable. She  works for me at my Frank's finer food stores for a short stent. So sorry about her passing. She definitely will be missed by those who knew her.

I didn't know Kim well, but I do remember her smile!  A sad loss.
