I got to kniow Deb our Senior year and dated during that time. We both worked at Jewel Foods in the deli dept.We kept in touch a bit; she went off to Indiana University. Great person. She passed away due to pancreatic cancer.
I kept in touch with Deb off and on after high school and we got together several times over the years. She reconnected with Bob Bonde, her HS boyfriend (class of '68), in the early 2000s, and they lived together in Cleveland for several years. Sadly, Bob died in the late 2000s from pancreatic cancer. She moved back to Atlanta, where she had lived most of her adult life, but was heartbroken over the loss of Bob. Her son called me to let me know of her death, but only said she had been ill for a while (I don't think she had pancreatic cancer).
